I'm doing a street reading of my play, This is My Constitution, in Paul Street Square and outside the opera house at lunchtime today to highlight the constitutional convention's focus on gender in the next few days - the play will also be performed in Galway, Monaghan and perhaps Dublin during the week with the support of the National Women's Council. If you want to let the world know what you think of our constitution confining women's lives to 'the home' show up and let your voice be heard!

...also I'll be reading with several other fine Cork poets as part of the Spring Poetry Festival, next Wednesday at 7pm in the Cork Arts Theatre (across the river from Opera House) - seems like the Cork poetry scene is growing more and more exciting, glad to be a part of it!
