not the real issue, I feel: look for example at the geography textbooks of our childhoods, the blank maps we filled in with coloured pencils or lead pencils, clusters of unsteady triangles for Knockmeandown, Macgillycuddy, Silvermines, Slieve Bloom, The Galtee Mountain Boy, to name but a few?
